While
the
Diplomatic Corps is one of the most active and dedicated service
branches in RSE International, it is also the smallest service branch. As
such, RSE International currently only has one embassy, Sivas Terrasz,
which is our
Earth Embassy.
In
conjunction with the
Diplomatic Coordinator and the
Diplomatic
Attaché,
Sivas Terrasz serves as the operational center of RSE
International's
Diplomatic Corps
universe. Many high profile members of RSE International belong to Sivas Terrasz.
Additionally, not all members of the
Diplomatic Corps are attached to
Sivas Terrasz -
many are members of other chapters or are serving in the field as a
lone representative of the Empire.
For
more information about joining Sivas Terrasz or starting
another Embassy, please contact
Diplomatic
Coordinator t'Rllaillieu at

Bottom
Line: The
Diplomatic Corps
functions through chapters known as embassies.
For more than fifty years, the Empire had few, if any,
diplomatic relations with civilizations in the Alpha Quadrant. After
the Tomed Incident of 2311, the Rihannsu Ambassador to the Federation
was recalled to ch'Rihan, and only silence was heard from the far side
of the Neutral Zone.
In 2364, the Empire resumed contact with the Federation.
The Rihannsu returned to the game of interstellar brinksmanship with
considerable zest, and continue to be a major player among the
civilizations of both the Alpha and Beta Quadrants.
The velvet glove concealing the Empire's iron hand, diplomats serve as
the Empire's public face. They comprise the delegations who attend
trade conferences, appear before government bodies (such as the
Federation Council), and negotiate on behalf of the Rihannsu.
The Empire does not depend solely on military conquest as
a tool of statecraft. If negotiation can achieve the Empire's aims,
the Rihannsu do not hesitate to employ it. Rihannsu diplomats receive
extensive training in negotiation at the Imperial Academy.
