The Diplomatic Corps has the power to develop treaties and
inform various chapters of role-playing challenges made by - and to
- other clubs. Members of the Diplomatic Corps must keep in mind at all
times that these contacts are friendly and any challenges are in fun.
The Diplomatic Corps maintains chapters throughout the Empire in the
form of Embassies, headed by Ambassadors, which in turn report to the
Diplomatic Coordinator. For information on starting
an Embassy or joining the Diplomatic Corps, please contact the
Diplomatic Coordinator.
The velvet glove concealing the Empire's iron hand, diplomats serve as
the Empire's public face. They comprise the delegations who attend
trade conferences, appear before government bodies (such as the
Federation Council), and negotiate on behalf of the Rihannsu.
The Empire does not depend solely on military conquest as
a tool of statecraft. If negotiation can achieve the Empire's aims,
the Rihannsu do not hesitate to employ it. Rihannsu diplomats receive
extensive training in negotiation at the Imperial Academy.
